At what age did you have your ideal body?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I think I would have been about 25.
36DD firm boobs (pointing in the right direction without any support)
Generally a size 12ish… if it stretched enough to get around my boobs.
Very well toned due to playing sports (which holds my bum in good stead now) and a cracking pair of shapely pins (even if I do say so myself).
The funny thing is…. I don’t look back and wish I’d still got it…. life changes and I am content with what I have got…. I guess as years have past I have replaced what I had with more confidence, knowledge and the ability to not give a flying feck. But I do appreciate the fact of having had the body I had at 25 and making FULL use of it.
Do you look back and smile in appreciation or do you look back and cringe, yet smile at the now?

I'm a stone lighter now than I was in my 20's and much more confident in my own skin.
So I would say my 40's! Plus from 40 and above there are seriously only a small percentage of men that look better than me
As a very dear friend said to me recently 'In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king!' |

Now to be honest, I look and feel better about myself more than I ever have. Have lost 4 stone over the last 2 years and my confidence is through the roof compared to how I used to be. Tall. X |

This is a good question. Ive never given my body much thought. I was always chubby but not grossly obese. When i met my ex husband i was a size 14-16. I had been heavier at one point. I always spent my life on diets like i think most youngsters do. When i left school i weighed 9 1/2stone. But there are some pictures of me when i was about 14 and ive got a tight skirt on and you can see my hip bones sticking out and my waist was always tiny.
I was never long without a boyfriend.
All my weight went on during pregnancy, i gained nearly six stone, never lost it and just gained more. I never looked at my body. For along while before i started this diet i was completly oblivious to my size and what damage it was doing to me. I seriousl believed i was happy and that my health problems had nothing to do with my weight.
I am more conscious of my body now than i ever have been in my life. Seeing the fat disappear to reveal a shape. Im under no illusion that im still massively overweight and have a long way to go, but the changes to my body are happening.
By the time im 50 i want to be the fittest and healthiest ive ever been in my life. Im more concerned by that than what my body shape will be like. The weight i have now lost i had been carrying for 21 years. I just want to do all the stuff i now want to do. |

I've never had my ideal body - genetics saw to that !
Plus when i was a teenager it wasn't compulsary to have a 6 pack like it does today !
When did I look my best ?
Probably in my early 30's cos I had still had youthful looks combined with the fact I had learnt how to conduct myself and my (self) confidence had come on leaps and bounds. |

Was his name Valhalla?"
Isn't that Norse mythology?
No this friend was something to do with dried fruit. |

I ( Mr ) am pretty happy with mine I have to say, Im the same weight now at past 50, that I was at 16, but much more lean and obviously more muscular. At one time I was 14.5 stone and very muscular, hardly any fat, that was in my fighting days as a heavyweight but there always seemed to be something to work on, so I was never really happy and content with it. I had a bad injury and had to stop training and my weight went up to 16 stone :[ not happy and those muscular lines went out the window. Lost all the weight and was reduced to a sorrowful 10 stone almost overnight through getting pneumonia about 25 years ago and was very ill for months on end. Since then I did go upto around 13.5 stone at one stage and was most certainly overweight, it being less muscle and more the other. Taking up long distance running and rock climbing sorted it out and reduced me down to the 11.5 stone I am today. Now I hardly ever move far from that, a little over or little below, either way, like I say Im pretty happy with it and the mrs seems to be too |

Hmmm, well, I'm 50, fast approaching 51 and still not achieved my ideal figure, and I don't think I will. Even as I shrink, I don't think my skin will shrink with it and I'll end up looking like I've melted!
My wedding dress 30 years ago was a size 24, I had my children, size 24, I've had playmates size 24 and my partner runs marathons, is 6ft and 12.5 stone.
As I'm getting older the fact the doctors have stopped saying "it's your weight" but "it's your age" has made me seriously think about losing weight. Add to that my daughter is getting married next year and there's a stunning Jasper Conran dress and Jimmy Choo's that I'd just love to get into.
When we met our daughter in January for her engagement lunch I felt frumpy in the pictures, I didn't in her graduation pictures and I was the same size. I don't want to feel frumpy in her wedding pictures, so I have 13 months to do something about it. My GP and the local gym have an arrangement and if referred I can go and use their facilities, so I don't really have any excuse...apart from the fact I'm flipping lazy and greedy! |

I was teased mercilessly all my school days for being so thin and gangly, I hated my body then.
I've done a lot of athletics and sports in my time so it was always toned, and it's stood me in good stead in later years.
I am just glad to still be here, however my body looks today. |

Now i reckon. Was far too slim in my twenties, now get that a woman is supposed to have curves.
Added bonus is I have the dirty mind to go with it - so watch out |

The time I had the best figure was in 2007, I had gym membership and went religiously 3 times a week. My curves were fab. My waist went quite small, my boobs stayed the same size, my hips seemed in proportion and my tummy was flatter. I was like a figure of 8.
I am still curvy and I love my shape but my tummy is flabby and my backside all bumpy. Now that I've reason to flaunt my shape and wear underwear in clubs I'm at the gym 3 times a week to get the shape back (if its possible).
When younger I was a tiny size 8 but with huge boobs that looked abnormal with my stick thin arms and sparrow legs so even tho there was no fat on me, I didn't have a good figure |

I forgot to say that in 2007 I was 40. Whilst my skin was completely unlined and clear when I was younger, and even though I've got wrinkles around my mouth and crows feet appearing, my skin is quite good. I've never smoked, drank, taken drugs or sunbathed obsessively. My vice has always been chocolate

Spent to much time as a teenager disliking my body until an old boyfriend stood me in front of a mirror and pointed out all of my good bits in such a nice way I was able to love me for the first time. Now I am who I am and if I feel good i feel great. |

I think you have a head turning figure and a body built for sin.

I (Mrs) would like to say that I finally feel really comfortable with my body, especially after years of being put down by family for not having as big tits as them!
When I now look in the mirror, considering the fact that I have a child of nine and have had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 32 for survival, my weight went up.up.up.up until I could get fit again.
I now for the first time in my life feel confident and very sexy with my body xx |
