Im a big tattoo fan, and Ive noticed more scarification pictures popping up.

Has anyone had this done? It looks like agony, even though some of the results look pretty cool.

I'll defo just be sticking to ink for my body mods

I think I'll stick with regular tattoos.

My next will cover a nipple and my sternum, more than enough pain for me!

oooft they look hellish sore, i've seen (on video) it being done in, they basically scalpel the shape out and cut away the skin inside the outline...fair play to the people sitting through them, i think they look great but i don't have the balls or indeed ovaries for that! no...i'll stick to having ink mashed into my skin with needles

Not had any done yet but a friend of mine has a mandala design 6" by 4" on upper arm that has healed brilliantly and looks awesome.

I've considered it, but I don't scar very well, and I don't fancy some of the techniques they use to enhance scaring, so ink it is.

Some of the nicer stuff I have seen has been mixed media, tattoos with brands for example.

I saw one which were a tattoo and they have removed flesh (flesh removal for Google fans) in parts and other parts they have cut (scarification) so it had texture to the touch.

I've seen tattoos of dragons and lizards where there has been transdermal implants for the eyes and scars for the scales.

Lots of nice stuff out there.

My chest tattoo is about 1cm from my nipple and was agony, I cant even imagine the pain of a nipple tattoo
