To hell with that. I don't have the FB app because it's too intrusive and ever since they stopped us checking mail on mobiles without the app, I stopped logging in. |

don't worry. Facebook will be over in the next few years. Something else, will be developed, and it'll go the same way, betamax video recorders went.....

Yeah, and the official app uses lots of resources/battery drain by constantly syncing.
I use Swipe; it's an app that very smartly reflows the mobile web of fb to form a very neat, functional app that can use the messenger chat too. |

Sofia V.Facebook Help Team
Hi Robyn,
When we discover accounts that look fake or like they’re using fake information, we ask the owner to confirm they are who they say they are.
In most cases, the easiest way to confirm someone's identity is to follow the on-screen steps to enter a mobile phone number and request a code.
If your mom can't confirm her identity using her mobile number, she'll need to provide a copy of her photo ID. This can be a scanned copy or a close-up photo she's taken. Review the types of IDs we accept here:

Hope this helps,
Sofia
facebook team themselves say it's not a scam, omg that sucks. i still wouldn't send it, what if you had fake ID? fucking stupid way to verify your account... |

I started seeing friend suggestions on FB that could only have come from my WhatsApp contact list... i.e. people from here |

thats just the mobile version getting in the way. once you're logged on to the mobile site, you might find this useful

yes...so you must have given FB your mobile number when you signed up for it
find it and remove it...they don't like that |
