Football aside, the culture is quite good, has more listed buildings outside London than any other city in England. 2 Cathedrals, a rich maritime history, oh and everyone thinks they're a comedian  |

Used to live there for a couple of years, great city, most Liverpool fans fly in and fill the hotels or drive down the 62, Everton is the boys club with local supporters,no preference with either team except Liverpool fans just think they are so much better and sometimes arrogant. Fantastic nightlife, great shops, architecturally beautiful (well most of it). Their sense of humour is overrated, Matthews st festival in August is amazing and well worth going to. The place gets under your skin and I do feel very protective of it when people knock it, wholeheartedly recommend people visit and experience it to fully understand it. |

concert square, Matthew street, slater street, wood street, dale street, Liverpool one, they all have great bars and pubs in them, loads of other places too |

was in pubs in Matthew street. great places. some spots u go in groups they won't let u in but these places had women on the street practically begging u to come in with price offers etc |
