I find that I like to read a lot of profiles and analyse them, some are very short and some seen far too long with the dos and don'ts. And get half way down and often lose interest.( PS I know my profile is crap before anyone says it.
)
I feel the longer ones put me off I feel if you put absolutely everything as well you can build a picture in your brain of the person. Less is more ?

When they're too long I lose interest n just click off the profile,so it does it job as a filter really.
I'm looking for folk that don't have short novels for profiles n they're looking for folk that will take the time to read it in its entirety......so everyone's a winner! I think? |

I don't think yours is crap.
I probably wouldn't mail someone with a very very long profile or a very very short one. If one of those profile types mailed me I'd reply if I liked their message. There's a person behind every profile. Even the crap ones. |

What's "too long"?
The longest profiles I've seen are only about three paragraphs..
That said, if they are three dull paragraphs, I won't read them, bt I wouldn't discount a profile for being long, per se. |

Mines pretty long but I remade it into a bullet point list and put some free entertainment at the end.
I think it's fair, given that on average it takes 90 minutes to get ready for a meet plus travel time, that someone who wants to meet can put in the effort to spend 2 minutes reading my profile. |
