Better than Maccy D chips. They are so over done and sharp you could slice your tonsils off! And salty!
KFC chips are pretty tasteless though. And i broke a filling on a chicken nugget there years ago. Put me right off. |

Beat takeaway chips no matter which part of the country I've had them are from Chinese takeaway shops. Found them always crispy, fat not greasy and seem to have a flavoursome coating and you get a descent size bag as well.  |

there's a takeaway near me that has something red on the fries( think it's paprika) the are delicious. |

Aye the only thing better than chips from the Chinese takeaway are chilli chips from the Chinese takeaway...awesome! 
As for the fake chips from KFC/maccy Ds.....you'd probably be better off eating deep fried cardboard! |

The above post about the gravy is right though, dipping the chips in that improves them dramatically.
Actually had a KFC a while ago and the chips tasted like proper chip shop chips, nicest I'd had anywhere in ages. No idea how they manage to go from so bad to so good and back again. |

We've got 2 KFC's in town - one always has cold, stale fries... the other always has hot, fresh ones.
They used to give you a couple of free dips but recently, they've stopped offering. |

I amost died from eating KFC.
I went one night and it was the only thing I'd had all day.
Woke up the next day vomiting from both ends and awful all day, bad stomach pains and headache...
On the 4th day of this I went to hospital and they said I had the most severe type of food poisoning possible and was massively dehydrated. Would have been dead within 24 hours if I hadn't come in it was that close
They asked if I'd been to anywhere tropical recently where I could have picked up the bug but aside from home cooking, the only place id eaten was KFC.

I agree. The gravy used to be the main reason I went there. Now it's not worth it. The recipe has changed and it's either lumpy or watery most of the time. |
