we have a few hotmail accounts; Sarah's own, my own and our couples account for here..
until recently the Hotmail page came up with all 3 to choose from and we could select either addy to log in to ...
however now we have to sign in (USERNAME & PASSWORD) each time ...
any other multi account users of hotmail have the same problem (on personal machine, not a work/public machine)? |

I find it reassuring actually. Like you guys, I have three hotmail accounts but what's really disconcerting is that facebook somehow knows my swinging friends from one account and tries to get me to add them as friends on my family account!! If my three accounts are linked through MSN that could explain how facebook has access to it. I don't remember ever permitting facebook to have access to all my hotmail accounts and I certainly haven't cross populated them on MSN either. |

I have had problems in the past very similar. For me it was because I asked Messenger to remember all passwords and user names. If it has the one, it is easy to hack all three! (so I'm told!)
We were sending out those annoying emails with links in them too.. We deleted all the passwords from being held and changed them and hey presto the mails stopped!

Just to put this in context, my brother works in the IT Industry, and he states that Hotmail is the biggest problem within the industry, for hackers being able to get into your account.
That's why, Hotmail has introduced a system that your Password is only valid for a fixed amount of time before they will flag up a reminder to renew it.
That, then is why you get messages cropping up; it's a security device. |

If it comes down to a contest between convenience and security - my vote goes to security. |

We have noticed invites from Facebook for peeps on our msn too (only have swingers on there). Also says other people you might know... and also shows some other addys friends have on their lists. Its worrying. Its also why we are not on Fb.

How inconvenient is it for you to complete the capja? you want to try typing in the words you see in the box when you can't read them! The audio solution isn't any better as it is so garbled it is impossible to make out. Ho hum! added security I guess |

Had something bizarre happen on Facebook...it gave me a list of people I'd worked with over the last 20 years but I don't know how? They were not connected to anyone else on my profile and I don't have my employer on my profile either! Found it spooky and a bit worrying. |
