If there was an 'edit button' you could use to go back and change a verification you have given.... how many of you think you'd use it?

I have to say there are times I do wish there was one.

PS - today isn't one of those times - but it is something I have in the past wished for.

So if you've verified someone - by whichever means - you can't then remove it at a later date (should the need/want arise)

Only by messaging them saying "And you can take my fucking verification off of your profile for a start you lying piece of shit!!!!!!" (or words to that effect)

We only verify folk we have met and when we have enjoyed that meeting so cant ever envisage why we would want to delete/change anything at all.

I guess it depends if you meet people more than once or not – may be.

I think it was Chris Rock (or may be another American stand-up) who said when you first meet someone you don’t actually meet the real person… you meet their ‘representative’.

I have certainly known people (singles and couples) who make a great effort for a first meet but as time goes on they turn into timewasters.

You learn more about people over time and sometimes things come to light where you may not wish your name to be associated with them… never mind endorsing them

Well cant see the point of them myself. Im not interested in advertising who I have met, nor do I have an ego that needs to be fed by someone else leaving one for me.

There have been a few people who wished they could remove someones verifications, so they are bollocks anyway!

well we have gone as far as only keeping our first two verifications on our profile we took the others off. we dont feel the need for people to see who we have been with. let them find out what we are like for them selves. we keep the first two so that people know we have in fact met people from this site
