I'm never a fan of 'which forumer would you ...' type threads as they always end up becoming forum-regulars-popularity-affirming threads.

I used to joke about shouting 'bingo' when they usuals have all been ticked off - as most have again in this thread.

BUT! having said that this thread is no different to many other similar type threads posted on here yet seems to have incurred more wrath than usual. Not sure why that should be.

I used to joke about shouting 'bingo' when they usuals have all been ticked off - as most have again in this thread.

BUT! having said that this thread is no different to many other similar type threads posted on here yet seems to have incurred more wrath than usual. Not sure why that should be.

Also it seems favourable for the people who post regularly and have the time or been on here long enough to get to know each other, but without the comments and input of other less known or new attendees, it would be a dull place.

It's a bit like being in a room full of teachers and your a mechanic, you're often left out or not important enough to be let in..

That's how it works. You start posting, you feel ignored mostly, you get skipped in threads but you keep going. Eventually people start to recognise you and then your contributions are noticed more.

Seems some of us may have had too much sun today but that won't dampen my spirits. The forum is multifaceted like the ppl who frequent it, the amount of crying with laughter I do is ridiculous! I love watching the banter, the flirting and the car crash threads where it will only end one way. It's a ppl watchers paradise, which I regularly do. i've been a bit judjey im sure at points

i think i said somewhere the other day your contributions on the forum are usually pretty entertaining and occasionally slightly naughty and as such add value to the proceedings here

i've met a few folks from the forums so tend to notice their posts more now as i think is natural so i find their additions interest me and beyond that i quite like some of the forum characters, some like diamondsmiles or acewinger as he's known now who have just been here an age and just feel like part of the furniture or erectjim who from time to time makes me smile, pp, because he knows why and that'll do nicely

I used a spreadsheet once on here. It and my associated posts were an unmitigated disaster. Forumites went into meltdown. I became a forum villain in seconds. I was defriended dramatically in the aftermath, as one thing built on another. Quite funny in hindsight

I have my little chummy chums, but outside of that I like the slightly sarcastic, intelligent type of lady - like Meli - who often says what I'm thinking.

EJ & Estella for the nocturnal thread, and obviously Miss Honey cos she's a good girl.

& I too miss Diamond Joe, but I like a lot more than that.
