I was more of a Grandstand and David Coleman than a World of Sport and Dickie Davies type of lad! Although I did often watch Saint and Greavsie if it didn't clash with Football Focus!
With all the Sports channels now such a show is pretty obsolete I guess as you can see just about any sport you want somewhere now.
My fave show was Sportsnight (a midweek version of Grandstand) as I used to sneakily watch it on my black and white portable when I should have been asleep on school nights! |
