Good morning fabbers , friends and forumites.
Oh my what a beautiful morning. The sky is an azure blue . The birds in the garden are singing overtures to the sun. Her warming rays on my skin as I sit with pooch enjoying a cuppa.
So chums in the words of the amazing Frank Turner" get up , and get outside "
So chums sadly I am working later and all day tomorrow. Though Pooch and I will be out wandering when we can
So what will you be getting upto this weekend ?
Suggest fantastic places to go and things to do
Taff & Pooch |

"Very little Taff, taking it easy after a recent injury - however I'll be enjoying the scenery in the Snowdonia National Park later "
Ouch sorry to hear that bud. Ag Snowdonia, I'm looking out of the window now over the mountains, they do look inviting , sadly work at 12 , though an early finish means pooch and I will be up there later this evening |

There is a stump in the front garden.
It has been mocking me since we felled the tree last year. Staring at me with knothole eyes.
This weekend I shall best it; armed with a selection of shovels, spades and pickaxe.
The soil will run pine-scented with sap or red with blood before this day is through. |

Morning Taff, morning all!
Today will mostly consist of a combination of catching up on work and frolicking (you can do that on your own, right?) on the South Downs and south coast |

Good morning Taff, I have a weekend off for work and the such so going to spend today doing all the little odds that need to be done, and hopefully a couple of hours with a coffee watching the world go by. Friends for lunch tomorrow and an afternoon stroll though some very pleasant countryside |

Just having breakfast after ParkRun this morning. No plans for the rest of today, probably going out walking/exploring as I moved a couple of months ago and there seems to be lots of footpaths and trails in the countryside around here.
Tomorrow I'm off to Brighton to watch the marathon and drink cider on the beach |

Well I've got my washing done as it's a gorgeous day, then off for a 4 mile walk
Tomorow involves lots of telly watching, starting with the Paris-Roubais race, one of my fave one-dayers, then off to a friends to watch the final days play at The Masters |

I've had a lazy start, had a doze, a couple of cups of tea, a long soak in a stupidly hot bath, bit of 'me time' with the doxy and whizzed the vacuum round. The sun is out and there's some sort of fete type thing in the village which looks interesting and worthy of a mooch. |

"Good luck
Luck is for the weak! I have sheer bloody-mindedness on my side...
Thanks though!
Destroy it VB. Make sure Mr E keeps you well supplied with cups of tea "
I'm a little worried about my writing style with you assuming I'm my wife!
VB kept me dosed with tea and encouragement and the first stump is out. This was a wee tiddler compared to the other though, a 14" behemoth!
Onwards and downwards! |

You rascal! I've been questioning my word choices all afternoon. I shall endeavor to use more manly words from now on anyway.
Like... bobbins. Bobbins and thrust.
Thrust that for a game of bobbins.
There, masculinity assured. |
