I've got to help with a buffet at the weekend.

I'm doing some retro food like cheese & pineapple on sticks and sausage rolls.

Greek salad and a cheese board.

Definitely cheese and pineapple. Egg mayo wraps. A good salad selection. Scotch eggs. Cocktail sausages.

A barmcake or barm is a soft round baked break that can be sliced into two and used for sandwiches.. some heathens call them rolls or cobs

Indian snacks like baji, pakora, and samosa are always good options. If you want to add a bit of excitement to the buffet, add a couple of extra hot versions in the mix... in a (Indian) Russian Roulette.
