With more TV shows in the vannila world like 'CLIQUE' and 'Apple Tree Yard',(Where the story is often told from the female POV)
Are we starting to see more socially and emothianlly complex yet, vulnrabal yet strong charectors where Sex is something they do and not something that they are defined by like Saga Noren from 'the Bridge'?
Or are Charectoers like this a rareity and the vanila world is not changing, not becoming more sexually open to females as sexuial beings in their own right, thus the steriotype is still there? |
