My Tuesday rant!

Jump to: Newest in thread

So as a lot of you may be aware of im on a weight loss mission and since Jan 6th ive lost 2 stone 12.5 lb and yesterday i was sucessfull at an interview and was offered a job..

here comes the shit bit..

*sobs*

My work uniform arrived today, ordered the biggest size they had which was a 32 (for the record i generally buy a 28.. but have got into some 26)..the bloody thing is tiny considering its a 32! I'm a good 8-10 inches to big for it.

My soul in that moment was well and truly destroyed.. had a hunt online for other tunic suppliers and non of the sizes will fit.

So after a cry i decided to rant on here..

Massive high of weight loss,, massive high of job... then massive crash of uniform not fitting. No idea what to wear as the manager isnt in until Friday.

If anyone wants to fund a breast reduction i think i'll be welcoming that option

Can't you just wear a vest top underneath with tunic half done up? Just a suggestion until sorted

Hopefully it will be quick.

As for the uniform, speak to your boss when she is in and see what they say. I am fairly certain they will have other suppliers. Of its personal protective equipment then they have to provide it free of charge even if they use alternative suppliers.

I know it doesn't help how you feel about it though. I'd be gutted as well. I bought a size 18 skirt before my holiday and was gutted when it was way too small for me.

Let me have a look online as there was a supplier i used to buy from who would custom make tunics for some of the ladies and were fairly decent sized anyway

Its Harveys of Oldham, they are manufacturers so they make their own tunics onsite and embroidery is done too if you need your company logo on.

They also do tabards which may be an alternative to wearing the tunic if you have a smart tshirt on underneath, they were always good with me over the phone and email and sent over all the measurements that were needed for the specially made ones x
