"Tomorrow the 5/4/2017 is national flash a trucker day. So come on girls make a truckers day. "
I shaved all my pubic hair off last night so if I see a trucker, he's getting a flash of the good stuff. Hate to think I've shaved for nothing |

Call me a killjoy all you like, I couldn't care less - but these regular 'flash a driver' (of one sort or another) threads are beyond ignorant.
Have you ever had to pick up the pieces - literally and metaphorically - after a serious traffic accident? Why are you even discussing anything which could distract a driver and lead to carnage? |

Sorry but that is dangerous, do you think it's a good idea to distract a guy driving 40tonnes I deal with drivers all day long and I have a duty of care while they are on site, there is no way I would be stupid enough to endanger anyone of my drivers or any there road user
And don't bother saying it's only a bit of fun because it isn't, it's stupid and
Irresponsible |

Beat me to it Dan!! Googled it too and don't think it was just an American thing. Was apparently designated by a porn star on Playboy Radio, so obviously has some validity then!!
Ridiculous idea that just shows the crass stupidity of some that give no thought to others in favour of a cheap thrill!! Anyone advocating such a mindless act that could result in misery should be ashamed of themselves. |

Flash a driver only if your both in a lay-by with both your engines turned off and wearing hard hats day.
I'm not making fun of serious accidents we should always keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road drive safely guys and gals. |

Here we go again, another truck flashing thread.
Degenerates into the safety first crowd saying how dangerous it is and the rest looking on it as a bit of fun.
For what it's worth, Sue's been flashing for years and so far only had appreciative responses from lorry drivers.
If a professional driver is going to be distracted for a few seconds by a naked woman then he shouldn't be behind the wheel.

It's the same with anything that takes attention away from the road, texting, turning around to scold the kids playing up in the back, putting on make-up (see that regularly) .. 99% of the time you get away with it, and it all seems ok.
But it just needs that one time to go wrong - there was a crash in Texas 2 days ago, truck driver was texting and crashed into a minibus killing 13. I bet he's texted hundreds, if not thousands, of times before with no issue...
It's not people being killjoys - it's common bloody sense!! |

drivers per se are distracted on a daily basis for less than a 'few seconds', the stats are testimony as are the consequences for those caught up in such things..
google just how far 50+ tonnes moving at 56 mph takes to stop..?
so your saying that you when out only do this once to one truck?

Maybe she should be a bit more cautious, if they are distracted for a few seconds and miss something happening in front of them they could be the best driver in the world but her distraction sets off a chain of events that could be catastrophic |

Great educational comment there! We would never had thought that!
Our comment was a "just passing" comment in reply to the first line of quote from the young lady above and had nothing at all to do with the actual thread subject!
That was a very low blow in our opinion and uncalled for. |

I like this thread it exposes the people who jump the gun in judgements on safety. The type of people that think they are gods gift to the world in everyway.
A message to the to all the saftey police (perfect people who obviously jump to the wrong idea of the flash a trucker meaning)
We professional drivers have our eyes on the road when driving so we would miss the show if done on the move.
Flash a trucker is to be done when obviously when stopped in traffic or parked up!!!
Hope this clears your insecure minds and that you can then feel free in knowing we are not as one person calls us fuckwits.
Lots of love and ffs have some fun (safely) xxx

I wonder if anyone who advocates flashing drivers have ever heard of rubber neck crashes?
You knows those crashes that happen because the driver is to interested in something going on other than driving.
Usually another crash that's happened, then a cascade of crashes happen because of rubber necking.
I'm fairly sure there's plenty of drivers going to be more interested in a woman flashing them than a crash.
Whether it happens or not, it creates risk that could easily and responsibly be removed by not doing it! |

Having had a member of our 'wider family' killed outright, by a distracted driver(not someone flashing him), I would urge any driver to be responsible and concentrate. I still have to deal with the children in the family, who are still traumatised, by losing this person, whom they loved very much. |

"So flashing a trucker is dangerous but roadside advertisements are fine? The same could be said of fireworks, airshows, joggers...etc etc
"
There was a catastrophic crash on the M5 in Somerset a couple of years ago following a firework display where many lost their lives.
You're right, anything that can cause a distraction can kill. So the point many are making is why deliberately create a diversion?
Yeah maybe they're fun hoovers or killjoys or maybe trying to be practical about the right time and place for naughty exhibitionist displays |

Your snide and condescending post is a credit to you. Thank you so much for clearing up the circumstances surrounding 'acceptable' flashing of truck drivers for us all ... I'm sure of course that 100% of people who partake in this cheap (but potentially deadly) thrill do *of course* only ever do it when stationary and us gun jumpers are all mistaken in our concern.
Unless I misread it, the gentleman upthread who referred to 'fuckwits' was NOT referring to truck drivers per se, but to *anyone* who makes light of road safety issues.
I'm certainly not perfect and nor do I think I am God's gift but at least my conscience is completely clear when it comes to driving because I have never *deliberately* done anything which might potentially cause a serious accident.
Furthermore, 'insecurity' (??) has nothing to do with my attitude towards anyone advocating anything dangerous - instead, I have a basic respect for other human lives. |

Where is the 'banging your head on a brick wall' emoji when you need it?
One moment of fun for you - potentially a death sentence for an innocent party (or parties). But heaven fucking forbid anyone dare object to someone else doing what *they* want to do, and 'spoiling' their so called fun.
Could you *really* live with being the indirect cause of a fatal, or life changing, accident? Or do you think a muttered expression of regret in court would make everything alright?
Jeez ... the 'intelligence' possessed by some in here would make an amoeba proud. |

I'm glad we've all had our serious pill this morning.
I have nothing personally against the trucking fraternity and refuse to tar everyone with the same brush but quite honestly if the most dangerous thing the average trucker did in a day was look at a 5 second flash then I would take that.
And since Miss C was sideswiped off the road and into a tree and left for dead by an 18 wheeler the only flashes you might be seeing from her are muzzle flashes...
Now squaddies on the other hand |

Anyone who says that boobs don't distract drivers long enough to cause crashes.... Remember the 'hello boys' wonder bra billboards that had to be covered up after several crashes as drivers were too bust pervubg over a pair of tits in a bra?!
Imagine actual real live bouncing boobies being waggled at you. Are you really only going to look for a few seconds? Or are you going back for more looks, longer and longer each time?
It's OK though as I have been assured by very professional drivers on a different thread that categorically ALL flashing incidents happen when lorries are parked up and NO ONE ever does it when traffic is moving and crashes NEVER happen through drivers being distracted because they are all so highly professional. |

Also..... Put the distraction issue aside.
What about driver consent? Not all drivers want to be flashed.
Switch the scenario and your daughter/wife/mother/grandmother comes home to say that some random guy flashed their dick at them as they were going about their business.... What name would you have for that man? |

Or put another way...what if you happened to be passing with your kids in the car at the same time as someone was flashing and they saw? How do you explain to a toddler why that man/woman was showing off her private parts?
There are times and places for overt sexual behaviour and the public highway is not one of them for all the reasons stated in this thread, and nothing will convince me otherwise regardless of whether we're talking about a stationary or moving vehicle.
Besides OP as already pointed out you have the wrong date for this sham anyway!! |

Really? You can categorically state that do accidents have been caused ever in the history of recording accidents from drivers being distracted by someone flashing them? I'll bet you I can prove you wrong and the person flashing wasn't even in the flesh but a big billboard poster.
I value my life so will stand by my view point of it is a stupid, selfish and dangerous activity to partake in. |

If it's considered dangerous to even touch your phone, let alone make a call, why isn't it sensible to think that flashing a trucker might be dangerous?
There was a truck related accident, killing 5 people, on Wednesday. It isn't flashing related but accidents happen. Doing something that makes an accident more likely is stupid beyond belief.
