I'm a great believer in being polite and even if someone doesn't tickle my fancy I'll simply say no worries and wish them well.
It would appear the same courtesy is lacking and those I've knocked back start becoming rather condescending in their tone and try and wind me up (block button is a dream).
Do ppl get a kick out of it? If you were in a nightclub you wouldn't start mouthing off because someone said "no thanks" - why here??

Unfortunately it's the power of the internet, they can hide behind their device on here, whereas face to face, nowhere to hide.
They probably get a kick out of it though.
You've got to take the rough with the smooth, I just acccept it and move on. I've gotten used to it by now. Lol. |

the amount of guys that get nasty after being told no thanks is unreal but im so glad they do as it makes it so easy for me to put them on the block list forever oh and its not just guys ive had some couples get nasty too for saying no thanks  |

Yup some pretty vile women too. I just think in this digital age where everyone is so accessible for want of a better word is it not easier to just be polite and move on and find someone you do click with? Pointless waste of energy being nasty imo |

They've probably been rejected a thousand times before. Rejection is notoriously difficult to handle for most people.
But then, I think a lot of people take this site too seriously. For me it's no biggy if I'm not your cup of tea. I accept that I'm not god's gift and that just because I'm feeling horny doesn't entitle me to insist upon sex with whoever happens to turn me on at the time.
I have a golden rule - always be polite when messaging and message only once. If you hear nothing or get rejected, move on. If they message a reply and want to chat, happy days.
But then having said that I know of one or two people who do actually treat this as a dating site and expect to meet the love of their life each time they message someone.

These people are everywhere, not just online.
I've had it at work, when out and on here.
Sometimes I rise to the bait and have a go back, can sometimes be amusing. Other times it's just a block.
Some guys also think that just because you've been polite and messaged back that you owe them a shag!!! It can be difficult, polite and just chat equals a shag. Ignore them makes you a bitch. Can't win? |

why ?? no thanks it just that no thanks some times i say no thanks because im sorted for a meet on that day...any guys that ask me why after ive said no thanks just end up on the block list anyway .. if i put a meet sign up i can get a 100++ messages so thats alot of no thanks and i dammed if im gonna sit there and explain why ive said no and help anyone with there profile jeeze i may not just like the look of someone or or they are too far away ect ect
ps i do feel for the guys too tho because it is a numbers game but that not the fault of the women on here thats just how it is |
