not really. i just think they're using their status to big themselves up...ooh look at me i met someone.
quite a lot of people use others to big themselves up and it's more off putting than complimentary.

I noticed the other day a guy had looked at my profile several times in a short space of time so I looked at their profile to see if it was someone I knew.
They had "(my real first name) come here" written on their profile. They couldn't message me because I've blocked newbies so I sent a message saying if it was about me could they remove it.
They sent a weird message back and blocked me. Nowt stranger than folk  |
