We did limit it nicely so other could have a chance and cause good thought which was nice to see. Many good comments and I've heard a few have had good positive PMs too.

All good and healthy if we learn.

Should I collate or will some seem to think they are mine...unable to read that it's actually what other men are saying? Maybe best to let a lady collate them and then it takes the skin out a bit for some.

Any Lady with an open honest approach willing to do it for the benefit of both men and ladies?

I did say gain , as in many have the ability to articulate an attractive point of view , sadly there then may be other factors which mean they don't hold . But the average lady profile who is not on the forums is pretty drab to say the least and beyond that a single syllable response looses any interest I may have held xxx I also said forum ladies to avoid the usual tirade of "well that does not reflect my actions/profile"

May I help as a man with 4 daughters who are and havebeen taught that they are equal yet ddifferent. They celebrate their differences and see most as positives to be applauded without forcing them upon others.

I fight fight fir equality but recognise we're made differently. ..physique, veribral and emotional to name a few.

Femanism isn't about equality that's just a small part but has become an ugly angry face which isnt attractive to look at. There's an extremism and fanaticism element which has hijacked the early movement. This unattractive face I believe is what most me see and its associations. There is an interesting article entitle ' why femanism is about equality' ...which might give an insight into it. It's written by a guy ( ooooops our opinions matter little)...but Google it and read.

Sitting back now for the onslaught. ..but it'll not all be bad. This as with anything is not definative and is an opinion as is everyone's comments.

RIP.

Genuine query here -- what is it about equal rights for men and women that is off putting to you? I'm interested in understanding that as a reason. Thanks.

Certainly wasn't condescending in anyway. You asked on a public forum that it was a genuine reason... I thought you were more open on the idea. There may have been many others asking inwardly a similar question but apprehensive to ask in case someone jumped down their throat. Femanism is alive and kicking ...x

It was condescending. You may not have meant it to be, but it was. I politely asked the "you" of the original poster. You answered, as is your right. I thanked you for your comment, I clarified further that it was a query to the original poster though. You decided to tell me what I 'should' do. Again you've every right to post. I've every right to find you condescending. And I do.

It's 'feminism' btw.

It's been very good...insightful and honest. 90 % have taken it it its original spirit. A few have tried to hijack it... namely some women for whatever agenda they may have had...but not helpful.

I simply stated what you were doing, IMO.

I'm fine if you found it condescending (I was being condescending intentionally when correcting your spelling btw). I can own my condescension if you feel it is, whether it's intentional or not.

Mansplaining

(of a man) explain (something) to someone, typically a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronising.

Also, I've not derailed your thread by asking a question, or are women not allowed to post on it? Oh and your answer on behalf of the other chap (which is your opinion and not his, which I was seeking) says feminism is not about equal gender rights...I could womansplain you how to use a dictionary.

Feminism isn't at equal gender rights and that's where they have got it wrong. If it was then there would be less clashing on the subject. Imo and if you Google many will see why it isn't. I not pretending to be an authority on it at all...that is often how it is projected.

"1. Feminiattractiventer or fun or effort in the chat

3. Gossips about others

I'll ponder number 4

Genuine query here -- what is it about equal rights for men and women that is off putting to you? I'm interested in understanding that as a reason. Thanks.

RIP.

Thanks for your opinion. I was asking the chap who posted, not you though.

PM him. But he may not have wanted to respond. It's a forum post and I guess anyone is free to comment, to encourage debate or not which ever may be the case. We don't all have to answer or reply.

I know this. I'm free to post my query to him, and response to you. Blimey, you like to mansplain.

Certainly wasn't condescending in anyway. You asked on a public forum that it was a genuine reason... I thought you were more open on the idea. There may have been many others asking inwardly a similar question but apprehensive to ask in case someone jumped down their throat. Femanism is alive and kicking ...x

And you wonder why women get assertive.

You think using the word mansplain wasn't? The question was asked. Might be worthwhile reading the the OP and original one. It's been very good...insightful and honest. 90 % have taken it it its original spirit. A few have tried to hijack it... namely some women for whatever agenda they may have had...but not helpful.

Ladies you'll have your chance tomorrow and we'll listen.

I'm not entirely sure why you're carrying on with the "ladies, you'll have your chance tomorrow". I'm finding it a bit patronising, to be honest.

Read the OP. The first one and you may understand why I said that. It's not patronising at all...I think you've personalised something which is there. There is to be a post tomorrow like this one for ladies to give us men 4 reasons that turn you off. Some seem to have started it early but on the wrong thread.

Nope, still finding you patronising.

Also, we did that thread. Today. Or were we required to wait for you to start it!?"

I believe someone did... where is it?

I'm 100% for equality and a very liberal person. But Feminism in its current form is absolutely toxic and goes against many of the principles it was founded on.

There are a few things that make me loose interest. The biggest thing is breaking trust between us.

That is soo difficult for me to deal with if the person I engage with can't be consistent, open and honest.

Trust can be broken by:

Deception, compulsive liars or misleading.

I just block because in the past I gave chances, but people don't seem to change and always have a hidden agenda...

Recently was chatting to a woman who did this and I told her to block me (first time I asked someone to block me) because I couldn't do it...

Really wanted her to be genuine and hoped her words matched her actions... but they don't. She won't block me either!!

If I block her will be the hardest decision I made on here to date. Once the trust has been broken and I block then there is no going back.

Yeah lost interest when you seem to lose attraction with them

Or don't feel like talking to them every day all off a sudden then no messages

Lack of interest in messages one word answers or being ignored

We perceive that if you're online but not talking to us, that you're talking to others. Fine by some, not fine by others. Makes them feel less special perhaps? Personally if we've hit it off but the guy doesn't make a firm step to arrange to meet me, then goes ghost for three days, I wouldn't block or delete you but I'd certainly be hugely less interested.
