"Relative had it in elbow.. The thing grew to size of a plum and had to be removed surgically."
That's what mine looked like but fortunately antibiotics and ice packs created them up. |

horrible!
depends what causes it, if its infected,anitibiotics work, but if its not an infected inflammation, just ice packs,regular over the counter anti inflammitories work, though i get stronger prescription ones...very painful! you have my sympathy! |

Keep an eye on it! Can very easily lead to celulitis so if it gets any worse before it gets better get right back to the doctor!
I was in hospital on an antibiotic drip for 5 days last year and they think bursitis in my elbow potentially started it |

Don't talk to me about knees. I had synovial cancer at 12. Luckily it was caught early and has never come back. I made a full recovery and completed 22 years in the army. My knee has never bothered me since  |
