The standardization of English spelling didn't realize until well after the 1600s, when the first dictionaries were produced. It's worth considering that many classic authors in today's literary cannons, including people like Jane Austen, used spelling conventions different from our own, and which were often inconsistent within a single written work.  |

Before you start being critical, you could consider the gent has difficulties with spelling. Some people do.
Plus in your posting after the so what, you put an exclamation mark instead of a question mark, between the words you & can't, you left a double space, the word "you" in the context it is written should read as You plus you have missed an Upper Case E on the word English.
Thus, sort out your standards first please. |

Fair play to the guy getting the criticism here, not only is he dyslexic but if you read his profile he also has Aspergers.

Long story-short
Whenever I log on fab swingers, I ask myself a question. Should I socialise by replying to messages/posts or should I scrawl through and scrutinise a few people's bad spelling and grammar?

I like peoples' eagerness to contribute and if I can generally understand what they're saying, I'm content. My own spelling suffers when I'm using a tiny screen,I'm very tired or my eyes are tired - perhaps more so from using a tiny screen. |

consider the fact that some people might be dyslexic or have trouble with words instead of being an arrogant arse and in the grand scheme of things is it so important as long as you know what the person is saying all is good. |

My husband has dyslexia. People judge him all the time. He has a good job and is a good man. So what if he can't send me a text that makes sense, id rather talk on the phone anyway. |

Your ellipsis should only have three dots really. I'm not judging but you did kind of aks for it. Also does it matter, if it does the job and you can read it. I hate these type of threads... x |

There are far more worthy considerations for me to get worked up about in life than spelling. Although I do bear in mind that the evil wrong doer responsible for the misspelling may not actually be able to help it. |

I have found three reasons for my bad spelling lately.
1) I have not pressed the key hard enough and missed a letter out.
2) I have hit two keys at the same time
3) My right hand has typed faster than my left hand and a letter is typed before the next letter
Sometimes I proof-read before I send and rectify the errors, at other times I don't and send as is. |

I got a message out of the blue on Saturday night asking why my spelling was so bad , I know you cant repeat what the exact message was but it was along the lines of looked at your profile noticed your hair and where you live , that explains it ,I wont say what my reply was |
