Are you happy?

We are extremely happy, but then we are pleased with the simple things in life. We aren't materialistic and we appreciate friends and family.
There are a lot of people who very obviously aren't happy and have issues of one sort of another. We try to find people who are happy within themselves.

We are happy and in love. I love my job and kids. More money would be nice but otherwise life is good. I couldn't be a swinger if I was unhappy or fragile. |

Shall we make judgements on others on fabswimgers?
I imagine it's a cross section of society..
Why the suggestion that a lot of unhappy people on this site or do you mean swingers in General?

In fairness OP I think the site is a form of escapism for a fair few, and their alter ego profiles don't necessarily reflect who they normally are. Maybe they seek something online or to be something they aren't in real life.

Happy isn't a place you get to, it's something you have to start trying to be. The good lady from Malmesbury gave a good quote. We're far too obsessed these days about showing how happy we are, instead of just being it. |

I am mostly happy, there are things that I'd like to change, but it more managing every day necessary evils better than anything else.
But I think I am rather fragile. I've had a couple of things that have happened recently and perhaps I'm a little more vulnerable than I thought. I'm not sure what to do about this as yet, I'm still trying to work it out. |

There is a real mix on fab . People change from day to day how they feel and you cant be happy all the time . Are you really saying people on here are here because they are unhappy . Again some are , Some are looking for new things in life . Its a mix.

What I tend to look for is being content. Too much happiness is unhealthy for your emotional well being in the same way as too much sadness, contentedness is a level place and not a spike like the other two should be. |
