actually.... the people who developed "hawkeye" for tennis and cricket HAVE approached Fifa in regards to goal line technology....
it may end up being tested in one of there tournaments....
so now you know..... |

i think hawkeye needs glasses. Why cant they rig the HD cams on the lines. Then we can all make our own minds up. Shame murry played raffa in cemi and not final. |

There has been much discussion on this and FIFA have said that it would stop the flow of a match. Others cynically have said the ref would have less influence in matches so back handers would be less coming to them. Personally i think if the players were more honest it wouldn't be needed but i think the time has come for more technology in football. |

It doesn`t seem to do any harm when similar technology/a third ref is used in rugby. Bring it in for fouls as well but only allow a set number of unsuccessfull challenges. |
