When I saw the trailer, I thought it looked really good. I think there will be two IT movies with this movie with the kids and the second movie with the adults 30 years later |

I'm massively sceptical, so many other 'reboots' have gone done quicker than the Titanic. I'm worried that it'll be stupidly overhyped and advertised to saturation point, and turn out to be a huge disappointment. |

Ahhh, I wouldn't call it a reboot though. I love the mini series, but it was only the real bare bones of a novel which is almost 1400 pages long. I want to see how they use the source material in two two hour+ movies, and a movie will get away with more of the violence and gore which was in the novel.
Saying that, I didn't like the reboot of Carrie. There were one or two elements from the novel which weren't used in the original, but there was elements in it that were in the original and not in the novel, though it was always claimed it wasn't a remake but rather an original imagining of the novel. |
