I've been talking to quite a few mates through out the day about goose bumps and feelings that you can truly feel in your stomach.
For example
-speeding tickets
-walking out a shop without buying anything and convincing yourself you're innocent
-nearly falling
I thought it's had a few moments where I've been shocked with disbelief that others have felt that away about something I don't think about.
Does anyone have anything that hits their senses in any form that they feel is unique to themselves or other people they know? Post below. |

That's adrenaline isn't it?
I don't know if the way I experience anything is unique to me but I guess not. |

It's a mixture of adrenaline, anxiety and guilt I would assume?
I think everyone feels everything different as there isn't a correct way to feel. |

That stomach lurching feeling is surely a common thing .... fight or flight when you feel anxious or threatened? Though it's strange you get it leaving a shop .... do you imagine you're going to be stopped and searched by security or something? |

I agree there isn't a correct way to feel. I think most of us will react with fear to certain things and will feel it in a similar way. I draw that conclusion from reading descriptions in novels etc. I think people feel love differently because some feel it possessively, some obsessively, some openly etc. |

Our minds and bodies are brilliantly complex systems developed over millennia, the fuller products of millions of years of evolution. We don't pay as much attention to what we experience in the ways that our earlier ancestors did - so we don't have their skills and fine tuning/reading to the same degree.
As others say, we're unique in how we'll experience things but some commonalities exist. Am aspect of mindfulness that is of high value. Better than devoting more time to a screen etc |

Have you seen the interview with pink the musician, she was talking about how she receives love and sends it.
In the interview she talked about how she liked to receive gifts to feel loved but her partner liked to say sweet things. So they'd always argue as they didn't understand how to meet their lovers needs. Kind of like learner needs for kids at school.
Nothing to say it's right or wrong. But I have found the topic extremely interesting. |

No, I haven't seen that interview but I think what she's describing is how they both learned to express love. I think that's different to how you feel it. |
