LCD technology is as good as Plasma these days. You will only see a better picture than LCD at very large sizes and also viewing from very acute angles.
Also as has been said Plasma has a shorter life span.

General rule is that if you buy bigger than a 42" than your best off with plasma but for 42 and smaller LCD has a better resolution. |
