Love it or loathe it?

I always feel uneasy after watching it. Fantastic film though, as was this is England 2000 and the series that followed.

I adore all the This Is Englands. Yes, hardhitting but also nostalgic and heartfelt. Excellent soundtracks.

I watched them all a couple of years ago when Ch4 had them on as a catch up before the final one. Never an easy watch.

Although I do feel that Milky got vilified a bit harshly in 90.

A scarily accurate representation of where we grew up. Echos of what used to be socially acceptable back then still exist there though, one of the many reasons we relocated a long time ago.....
