Tips on Shower Photos

I've been here a while and seen some amazing shower photos. I try to take some and it looks like a sack of spuds going through the car wash 
My struggle is making it look classy, hiding my belly when I'm already trying to hide my foo. And no rubber duck will ever be big enough to cover my muffin top  I think I need 8 arms
Any tips would be appreciated  |

They can be really difficult I have tried two which are on my profile but I used the timer on my phone not an easy task sorry I can't be much help here xxx |

I tried the timer too but then i ended with a picture of me slipping as I ran into position |

I'll lend you various body parts to cover anything 
Steam could be a useful thing to play with. Leave the window open a while before starting the shower so that the steam is more visible and that might leave enough on show to tease.

Replace duck with octopus
The shape and size of your shower room is also important, may be best if you used the local football clubs shower room, you could ask them to take the photos too. |

Instead of taking a photo. Set the phone up somewhere and take a video. Find an app that lets you capture frames as images and hey presto the perfect pic. |

Replace duck with octopus

Your post did make me chuckle. It's good to have humour but I'm hoping it was tongue in cheek?
I've looked at your current pics and I can see nothing wrong with your body??
Video yourself in the shower so you can pick the stills you like. I'd take a towel or a tshirt in the shower and use those to cover bits I wasn't too happy about showing in pics.

Some good points here and some things (like a small bathroom) you might not be able to change.
Here's my thoughts...
* You're a stunner, you should be proud to flaunt yourself and don't get hung up on anything.
* Grab a gorillapod for your phone so you can position somewhere to give a more flattering angle.
* If you've got the option, set up burst shooting mode so it takes many shots in quick succession - more chance of getting a winner.
* Filters and gentle tweaks can help improve in post production.
* Black and White might change the tone of the photo and give you the effect you're after?
* Instead of trying to hide bits, try different poses... bend over and look back at camera.. or stretch up washing arms high above your head (maybe viewed from side).
* The absolute best way will be to get someone you trust to take a load for you.. someone prepared to spend a long time with you, trying all different things until you're completely happy. It's a shame you are a fair distance from me or I'd gladly volunteer my services.

Couple more ideas..
* Unless your looking at capturing the actual water flow in your shot, it'll be best to start showering then turn off the water to make things easier. You'll still appear wet (and soapy?) So the effect will work.
* Even though you'd never think of his for an actual shower; you could do your make up and/or hair to give you confidence - don't get your head wet and you can still get the look of a wet body.
* Could try wearing heels in he shower - as long as they're out of shot no one will ever know and your legs and bum look great for the shot.
* As an alternative to a 'shower' shot, you can always try a 'just showered' shot with you in a skimpy towel... gaping open or rising up in the right places? |

first get your light and angles right water should be at most tepid (less steaming up of lenses ) .as for you cover your skin in baby oil this will make the water form into large droplets plus give you a glow wet your hair comb it back away from the face if you can . close your eyes for a second just before the shot is taken then open them wide as you can this wets your eyes and makes them look more sparkly in the shot dont put on excessive makeup enjoy yourself |

A friend helped take some for me and I hated them not because she done a crap job far from it - it was more I looked fat and belly and cock looked odd. I have them in private folder but I hate most of them
I would say cropping them and self timers / waterproof bags would help also adding colours or vinegerrets |

Fortunately my duck is big enough
But getting that cascading, water dripping, steaming look is quite difficult
I was told that you should mix baby oil with water and spray/ mist it on your body to get the "shimmer"
Can imagine it could get quite slippery though
And timers? Set your phone for voice activation  |

Take a video and screen grab is one option.
Position wise, lots of breathing in & tits ooot. take some from behind too (hides tummy) & use props like sponges & the soapy bubbles. |

I have a couple in my friends folder but they're not great shots. I think I need a bigger shower, mine is so tiny I can't really play with angles so what you see is the full on wobbly cellulitey reality as a result. Which is why they're in my friends gallery so people know what they're getting. |
