Best Father Ted episode?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

So ive been bored recently & hammering through box sets on the TV, & threw myself all the way back to Father Ted with it being a classic, good, British (irish) sitcom.

The only issue is though, whats the best episode...?

The one with My Lovely Horse.

Honourable mention for the episode with the hideous pop star that all the old ladies adored. Of course, he wasn't based on a real, mystifyingly popular Irish singing star at all.

Oh, no .

Also love the one where they fix the raffle to win the car and the dj only has one song, 'ghost town',

And the one where the tv crew come to Craggy Island and they have the fair. Father Dougal Maguire and the spider baby!

Has to be Speed 3,just perfect!

Although the episode with 'so I hear you're a racist now, Father' has to be up there too...

And the Whistle Theft episode with Dougal being a rebellious teenager

Oh, come on - you of all people must have liked the episode where they were trapped in the lingerie department. It wasn't a secondhand lingerie dept admittedly, but still .

Loved a Graham Linehan tweet from last week - he put up that clip of the old Irish guy's reaction to St Patrick's Day that went viral. He said he'd never felt more patriotic .

Tough call. Father Ted has to be the most under rated comedy in a lifetime. Every episode is up there with any comedy genius.

For me it's an even tie between think fast father Ted and a very Christmassy Ted

This town, is going like a ghost town....
