For reasons unknown, one of the biggest hits of 2002 was the Black Eyed Peas 'rap' ballad 'Where is the Love?'
I have nothing better to do, so I thought it might be mildly amusing (or just okay) to compile our own list of artists with names inspi_ed by fruit or indeed vegetables.
So, I will start - Kid Creole and the Coconuts! |

"The Jam
If your getting away with that...I'll add marmalade "
A little bit off wiki about the marmalade. ....wonder why they changed their name at that time
The Marmalade is a Scottish pop rock band from the east end of Glasgow, originally formed in 1961 as The Gaylords, and then later billed as Dean Ford and the Gaylords. In 1966 they changed the band name to The Marmalade. The most successful period for the band, in terms of UK chart success, was between 1968 and 1972. From the early 1970s, after the original players began to drift away, the band evolved with many further changes and still exists to this day touring the nostalgia circuit. With the departure of Graham Knight in September 2010, there are now no original Marmalade members remaining in the band.

Was just about to type Korn! You beat me to it. Did you see them in December with Limp Bizkit.
And my other contribution:
Ram Jam
I didn't but would of liked too.

I missed them but heard it was amazing. But I do have my Iron Maiden ticket for their gig in Brum. Can't wait for that one! |

Oh wow. Not a huge fan of them to be honest but I know you'll have a good night.
I really want to do Download. System of a Down and Biffy (my secret passion) would be awesome. |
