Well that's no chuffing good. I got grey clouds here and loads of washing to do. I would love some sun.

I will however share some good news. My son has 2 interviews for apprenticeships, and I'm extremely proud of him

Well if this doesn't make you laugh..... I don't know what will!

I try and deep throat a banana at work as a dare, my gag reflex breaks the banana and it gets lodged in my throat and i have to get my work colleague has to slap my back until I regurgitate it..... on the plus side, I can deep throat 7 inches.

And yes, this is a true story lol!

Best of luck. To him.

One of the company's I work with has nearly 2000 apprentices on various schemes. On completion of training they start on £30,000 a year. They also earn over £20k pa whilst training. A good start.

Do you take on 40 yr old women as apprentices? I'd happily relocate for a 6 grand pay rise whilst training lol

It's brutal that my 16yr old son will be earning more than me and I work unsociable hours in a job with huge responsibility...that kinda boggles my mind, but talk about relief knowing he'll be sorted if he keeps his nose clean and works hard.

He'll be able to have a decent way of living. Interview number 1 is on 25th April. I'm nervous and excited for him and I'd happily lose my right arm if it meant him being set for the future.

It just so happens all I needed was a nice message (I like the colour red) and for me to get out of the room I was working in.

I hope everyone's now having a fab day in the sunshine.

The summer does bring along happiness. I think it's the yellow sun (yellow is used to represent hope, happiness/ optimism and such, )

Maybe it's the idea of getting rid of my grey complexion also .

Evening lovelies. Anyone for a film, cuppa, dinner or, more to the point, an alcoholic beverage?

There is no age limit to become an apprentice. The oldest so far is 37.
