They can but that shock is generally a knee jerk really reaction.
Take the trans phobia thread... I agree that trans should access tbe bathroom of their true to them sex but I also have the ability to see the pros and cons of an argument.
The con being creating a loophole for opportunistic paedos.
Acknowledging both sides of an argument is a good thing.
The wow just wow crowd jumps straight to you must be hitler/trump/sexist/racist etc.
Opinions can be subtle and nuanced... That is my poibt
Wow just wow people generally prejudge and have a real deficiency in critical reasoning

I'm pretty certain it was a 'wow....Just wow' comment to stop going off on a big rant. I felt the same and purposely didn't comment on that thread. I understand some people's points but what certain people were saying was absolutely ridiculous and as much as others tried to defend them they basically made an accusation that trans people are more likely to be paedophiles |
