So many threads on here start so well ,and then plunder into argument on top of argument..then you wonder why some members don't join in with the chat ?.....is it like this at the clubs as well ?... |

In face to face there will also be less people exposed to inflammatory sweeping comments then when they get made on written online forums, which also minimises the response from others -- hence may be perceived to be less explosive. Seeing inflammatory scaremongering comments written and remaining available to be read by others without challenge to curb them, is also a reason that those who find it disappointing and reprehensible behaviour can feel compelled to challenge them so there is a minimising of such attitudes.
It's not always because people wouldn't challenge the same behaviour if overheard spoken in person. I know would. |

I en been on here 8 months and the majority of it has been a nightmare. I've been to one club and had the best night I've had in a long time everyone is friendly, on the same page and respectful. They are all there for the same reasons. On here you've no idea who you're really talking to and as others have said you won't find sad keyboard warriors in the clubs, well they might be there but probably wouldn't say feck all to someone in the flesh. Have fun |

As perfectly put as ever. Yes, there are undoubtedly keyboard warriors on here but I don't think whenever someone disagrees it's the case they are. |

Definitely not all keyboard warriors ...just some seem to ruin a perfectly good thread ..and being honest ..it's killing it for me ..I've joined this for fun and maybe make a friend or two ...get enough arguments at work
Thanks |

Well maybe just stick to the lighthearted threads? It's a forum - a place where people exchange and discuss their differing or similar ideas. If you just want fun, only read those that are 'fun'. |

haha no. Keyboard warriors live behind the keyboard.
Clubs have a mix of people, the same as you might find in the the pub, but more respectful, maybe because they tend to be aware of the need to maintain the right mix of naughtiness and respect.
There might be the odd one who acts up, but it is rare.
The forum is not a reflection of the whole site or swinging in general, by a long chalk. |

My two experiences with clubs, Liverpool and Manchester left me put off completely. I was treated unwelcoming in both cases by couples and in one when I declined an invite to play I was told best of luck playing here.
Least on the forums you can block and that's the end of it. There are lovely people and ugly people both in real life and on line. |

"I reckon the forum socials that get organised would be a right laugh
"
The forum social get together are a good laugh. I think the forums are more interesting than clubs because there is more intelligent debate and banter, not just mindless fucking, smarmy pushy people and up their own backside couples. Most sex we have seen at clubs is vanilla ...give me the forums any day |

Nope, nothing like that in a club. Not unless someone shouts for 'opinions' on inflammatory subjects using a megaphone, which is the equivalent of some of the threads here |

Does it ever progress to mud wrestling? |

Only mud-slinging, unless at swingfields where there is plenty of mud |

Well the forum and being at a club arent really comparable. You wouldn't go up to people in clubs and start a debate, its just general chit chat really. If anything is said that the other person doesn't agree with, then generally people just drift apart from each other. |
