I need your help, I have written and new poem but can't quite get the ending right...can you help? Poem below
Mary had a little lamb
She also had a Duck
She left them both alone one day
And all they did was ????

She left them both alone one day,
And all they did was buck
The implied and hoped answer,
And played and run amuck,
Until Mary the wise advancer,
Cooked them for a potluck. |

Mary Had a Little Lamb

To see if they would fuck
The lamb was big, the duck was small
They even tried it against the wall
The Lamb gave up, the duck gave a cluck
The best Mary's lamb got was a ducky suck
...I know, I kow....that's terrible!!!  |

down all the mirrors
and the paintings from the walls
they lifted up the carpets from
the bedrooms, lounge and halls
out went all the furniture
piled up in a great big heap
they painted rooms, they painted doors
in hues nice for ducks and sheep
when Mary got home late that night
and couldn't unlock the door
the duck and lamb informed her
that she didn't live there no more
Mary wandered off thinking
"life, it sure was strange"
she died sev'ral years later
in a home for the deranged
this rhyme contains a lesson
and a simple one at that
don't buy a lamb or keep a duck
stick with a dog or cat |
