"Go buy an indian dream catcher and hang it over your bed "
I bought my daughter a big dream catcher when she was about 13 yrs old...... it helped, even if it was only psychologically. |

Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with dreams both good and bad. The dream catcher when hung over or near your bed swinging freely in the air, catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the dream catcher, slipping through the outer holes and slide down the soft feathers so gently that many times the sleeper does not know that he/she is dreaming. The bad dreams not knowing the way get tangled in the dream catcher and perish with the first light of the new day.

I do have nightmares but thankfully not often. The worst ones are when I dream something has happened to the kids, I wake up heart pounding and I'm so frightened for the couple of minutes it takes to calm down. Have to check the kids to see if they are still breathing. It usually happens when I'm feeling vulnerable or when I'm feeling something is wrong in my life |

I have had some rough times when it was hell to sleep. Its your subconsious working stuff through. Try talking about them in the light of day. Sometimes they then disappear. Hope you have sweet dreams soon.
