"Its 5 in the afternoon and 6 in the evening so its 6pm, otherwise people who worked til 5.30 would have to be paid night pay for 30 mins "
i work 12 hours shifts -- 8 til 8 - so 2 hours night pay - but then our night staff get the same wage as the day staff |

"When it goes dark In sweden we have darkness for 6 months .
Haha Malmo is further south than Edinburgh!" That is right is it, we have it for few months, not as long as the north. |

"Just having a debate with a work colleague! I say 5 he says 6
When there's a knock on your door at the agreed time! "
I generally start work around 3 in the afternoon and greet people with 'good morning',and a smile of course. If I finish at,say 3 on a Tuesday morning,as far as I'm concerned it's still Monday night. Different people have different time scales so,evening is whenever you want evening to be (round about tea time,,whenever the hell that is).
Time is relative to the observer. (Douglas Adams),,,or.
Time is an illusion.Teatime,doubly so.
(Einstein). |
