Yes its just for the BBC..... there is bugger all on them channels.... "
As far as i understand, the BBC gives a sizeable chunk of the licence payers money to Channel 4 for their programming.
Happy to be corrected if wrong. |

Channel 4 used to get funding from ITV companies in return for their right to sell advertisements in their region on channel 4. Now it is funded just like ITV is by advertising, sponsorship, selling programmes abroad etc.
Although Channel 4 wanted money from the BBC, this was rejected by the government a couple of years ago. |
