Hiya, I'm looking to buy a used Honda Civic (2006 or younger), but can't find one with mileage under 100k, anyone know why that is?

Thanks x

Lots of them were put out onto the fleets so those that are coming through now maybe are ex lease/rental cars so may have high mileages, have you tried the Honda dealers? they usually have the pick of the available cars but at a price

a reliable source tells me that toyota have pressured honda into stopping making the diesel engine because they are so reliable and durable, toyota cant compete with this engine (toyota being a major share holder in honda) they are either being held onto or bought up quickly.

u will be able to get 1 with low mileage but you will pay a premium for it

a search on autotrader shows 253 civics under 4 years old with a mileage of 40,000 or less within 60 miles of manchester between 6 and 10 grand

so they are there !

Totally agree with you the new model (which is likely to be changed before the year is out) is an absolute dream to drive, I love it. I have the diesel version which has been a god send as I've clocked up over 43k in under 2 years.

Apparently, the reason they are discontinuing the current diesel model is because it's no longer EU emissions regulations compliant.

Have a good look at dealerships ... ours often has good decks on older models.

Have a look on AutoTrader.

I have just looked and for 2006 or younger with less thank 100k miles there are 917 Honda Civics within 100 miles of my house.

Give it a bash.
