Bloody annoying isn't it. The last time I had to ring my doctor's it took 30 min's to actually get through to the recording without it going straight to the engaged tone first. Then the blurb said you are in queue number 1........9 I nearly cried it then took another 30 min's to speak to a human! |

Why do people never say a word to you when in a long queue? It's kinda like an unspoken rule. We just stand there looking bored. I people watch or get my phone out and google something.
I tried to jump a queue once and got a bollocking so now I'm a typical Brit, calm and polite and as patient as ever |

Well mine have alway's been good until that last experience, the doctor I saw was plain weird as well. Also they said come in for 3:30 then we'll decide which doctor is best to see,but you could be waiting an hour! I don't know what the stuff is going on there! I feel sorry for really poorly people ringing first thing to get an appointment. Anyway that's my moan out of the way |

"Be thankful they've not (deliverately) cut you off!"
There's still time for that it usually once you finally got through to whoever you wish to speak with then somehow get cut off to start again ffs |
