No. I deleted because I didn't want contact with anyone as I was cutting out this side of my life and it seemed pointless to keep in touch...so I didn't tell anyone. I don't do fanfares and drama. That's not my style. |

Nope. If you want someone to know youre leaving then they'd be worth the effort of messaging directly or you'd be talking to them off site already and it wont matter.

I think it will depend on my reasons for leaving. If I decide all this just isn't me anymore then I would do a quick goodbye thread and go.
If I was pissed off by something / someone who made being on here a nightmare then I'd rather delete than flounce. |

when I go, its usually a spur of the moment thing...
the thought pops into my head and the next thing I know I'm back to reality..
I don't see the point of leaving threads as those who do leave would surely know who they wish to keep in contact with and may even be in contact on other media anyway...

I wouldn't do one, because I don't believe anyone would care if I left. Not complaining, just saying how it is (I don't particularly care when others leave either).

I don't think I've ever done a 'good bye' post. Can't really remember now. I have deleted my profile a couple times lately when I just needed a little break or a little breather from it all. Never really been good at attention seeking (that's what I think it is in some cases - especially when they say goodbye but are still on the site for a week or two).
What would you write for a site like this anyway? 'Have to say goodbye now. Met my quota for viewing all the gaping vaginas and crusted penis pictures. Time to call it a day'?

Only a few people have contact details, mainly because most of my contact is via the site, but I consider some to be virtual friends. I might feel that it would be easier to say a quick farewell on the forum just so that they know I haven't died. |

for all those who supported me, just because they could see i was struggling, you are true gems and very rare and the world needs more of you.

I had a very busy couple of weeks at work ( I run my own business ) and I can't stay off fab when we are on it . It's a bit like any addiction really , just can't stop , so that's why we leave ... there's no temptation without it ! |

It's something that most of us will find out the hard way. I've had quite a few lady friends leave over the past year or two as they have come to that point in life they want something more constant. Those I still keep in touch with all admit it's very hard to find someone from vanilla world who manage to keep them excited.... think its also something to do with having had variety. |
