On a recent meeting we were informed about something we've never heard of before. To our ears a new sexuality. Apparently there are men out there who are only orally bi?
I'm 43 so my understanding is now archaic but I always thought that if you were sexually active then you were either straight, bisexual or gay.
Is Orally bi the male equivalent of bi curious?
Is someone who is Orally bi, sexually attracted to the same sex or is it an act for the sake of the situation?
If you are sexually attracted then are you not simply bi or bi curious?
Seems strange to me to class yourself as orally bi when all fully bi women are purely orally bi. Surely the word bisexual defines who you are attracted to, not the sexual acts you are prepared to perform?
If I somehow didn't like performing oral sex on a female for whatever reason, I am still straight. Not penetratively straight.
Are there any other sexualities out there that I don't know of?
I really hope this question doesn't offend anyone. I am genuinely interested in the forums interpretation of orally bi and if you are orally bi then I'm genuinely interested in how you define your sexualit.

Have you ever seen a child that is slightly camp and said they'll will be gay? That child knows nothing about sex yet. My personal opinion is being gay or bisexual is about feelings, relationships and love. Sex is about what feels good. If it feels nice do it, no need for lables |

The label is intended to simply help people find the type of sexually compatible member they are searching that persons profile bio is their oppertunity too add the nuance of exactly what it is they offer and expect .....

I think people just use labels like this for simplicity as well as this being an informative explanation of what things they like.
Straight, bi and gay cover a whole range of very nuanced sexualities anyway - and bisexual interests are enormously varied. I think it's pretty helpful. |
