I dont know if its because people seem to avoid political discussion on here...but I am starting to find that the most tempered and reasonable discussions I have had online are here...on a swingers site full of sexual deviants. I find that rather alarming.

oh and when i first joined i found a lot of the people were nasty. just enjoyed putting others down or telling them to leave the site as it wasn't for them and only for swingers.
found myself thinking fuck off a lot and often saying it (using better words than that). |

It has it's area's that are best to avoid like any site, and with blocking not being site wide the forums can be a way for the idiots to harass and get around being blocked.
Tend to stick to the main forums and not my local region specific forum for that reason. |

If you skip the odd bits of nonsense, we're generally fairly clued up or open to listening. Like all open groups, we're a cross section of society, varied interests, outlooks, intelligence etc. Some topics are easy to avoid, of they're too harsh etc.
Politics moved out of the lounge, which settled things somewhat. I dare us all to go take s look at the politics section  |

I kind of wish it were still allowed on the lounge because I'd like 'politics lite' occasionally - the politics forum is WAY too long winded for me, I don't have half an hour per thread to spare. |
