Good pic options for curvy ladies

If you are having them done by a photographer, they should be able to give you guidance..
If not, google boudoir photos and take a look at the poses.
Soft focus, soft lighting equal and a short focal length (camera aperture set to F3.5 or there abouts) help.
Images with materials as props (voile, basques, Etc) add to the overall image..
But most of all, have fun and feel relaxed and sexy, that will shine through in you pics..

Know what bits you don't like. Hold something you can conceal them with. Play around with your angles; you'd be surprised what works. I use the photo app on my laptop so I can see it on the screen. And never stand straight on, angle your body slightly with the front leg bent. And breathe in.
Those tips may not work for everyone but they do for me. |

if you are doing them yourself use the timer on your phone and try different angles ...
take a lot of different pics too and just experiment and have fun |

It's all about accentuating the parts you like while disguising the parts that you feel self conscious about.
What I will say though is men don't notice the lumpy bumpy bits we do, and some actually like seeing a soft tummy etc. Have some fun with photos and try not to be self critical.
If in doubt find a local professional photographer that does boudoir shoots, they will understand lighting and angles to make you feel like a supermodel! Xx |

Personally I think that it's about confidence doesn't matter what pose you do, what your wearing, the lightening, your make up etc if you don't have the confidence to pull it off you'll never be happy with them

OP. You do already have some nice ones.
As a curvy lady myself I understand your dilemma. But have overcome my nerves and actually now have quite a few.
My partner has taken the most recent ones and I think he did a pretty decent job
Relax and smile. I would look at the photos after each section and choose what you like. I hate my stomach and will do everything to hide it. So I have become inventive with angles so the focus is in other areas. |

If you can afford it try a boudoir photographer (I got my shoot on special offer).
They style you and do your hair and make up, give you a choice of sets and direct the shoot for you to get the very best out of you.
Being a big girl I was really nervous about mine but it was such a liberating experience and I love the pics - as does my other half! I think I look really sexy in them and I feel attractive when I look at them, even if I'm having a frump day!
