have story about something similar .Was driving home with my dad in his van, dropping ebay stuff for a buyer in Holmfirth we took short cut on country road in the dark the white lines disappear. Next thing we know we speeding dowan a vertical hill thought we drove off a cliff my belly went as far more than any theme park ride. |

The only time I have felt genuine terror was when I had my first MRI scan and the guy counted down as I went in. I have no idea why it caused me such fear but every time I've had one since I tell them not to count. |

Im scared if getting old and helpless 
Without any control over my life. having no teeth and not being able to eat the many delicious things that require chewing!
Or having dementia/ alziemers and losing a grip on reality.

Snakes, spiders (both can send me into a full on panic attack)
Clowns .. fricking IT!
Not scared but i do have a slight fear of concrete steps (like in multistoreys) and open backed staircases |

Arachnids
Last year I spent a few quid on a spray called "Spider Stop".
A peppermint type of insecticide that you are meant to spray around the external windows and doors on a fortnightly basis.
Let's hope it works.
Big spiders seriously freak me out. Heart rate goes up instantly, you sort of panic initially too. Temperature goes up and I brake into a sweat. A very uncomfortable feeling that leaves you on edge for a few hours to say the least  .

Anti fungal chemicals
I used to think that guiliane barre syndrome (1 in 50000 chance medical thing) would be terrifying because of the lack of control of your body...but then I got it -bizarre that the one medical condition I was terrified of is what I get- and it was fine really, irritating, frustrating but not scary. Maybe there's something in this conquering your fears lark and i should start trying to conquer the athletes foot as well. |

Dwarves/midgets...nearly got run over by a bus trying to avoid one. He was dressed as a clown for Zippo's circus.
I was about five/six walking down the road with my mum. There were two "children" in front of me so I ran up to them to say hello. When they turned round my child brain couldn't put their faces and bodies together...it looked "wrong" and scared me.
Fifty years later you'd think I would have got over it ffs, but evidently I haven't if I risked life and limb because my mind screamed "wrong!"

Public speaking. Even reading a news article to one single family member makes me freeze up to the point there's no way I can read the rest.
