Kids are off to Bulgaria without me this year.

I'm off to stay in an eco-village near the shores of Loch Tay.

I love Turkey, been to Marmaris a few times and still have friends there, nice to go back and the local shop keepers restaurant owners remember you, especially considering the amount of people they must see each year.

I'd go back to Egypt, scuba diving in Sharm mmmmm lovely....but I don't have the money hence staying local this year lol xxx

went to mykonos a few years ago...fantastic place, very cosmoploitan, very open...

this year went on a tour of india, now looking for a cheap deal for end of sept...i do like my holidays

Myknonos is a fab island Tony, went a good few years ago and very chic, so also is Sitges in Southern Spain. Both very popular Gay resorts which I just happened to stumble upon when looking for some place to go

Just had a fab day at the village Gala, got a ceilidh later this evening.

August brings the village arts festival for a couple of weeks..... usually get about 25,000 visitors through the place then.

.... so all in all not such a bad place to stay home and holiday.

we are going to benidorm.

we love the old town,so many options.

last year,we found an old english pub.

it was a bit surreal,it was owned by a mother and son.

it was the brigadoon of pubs.everybody was so friendly,within half an hour,everybody was up dancing,chatting,in general,having a ball.

that was our last night.

i'm half expecting to go back this year,to find no pub,and nobody having ever heard of it.

we are now looking at next spring as said above, Egypt in May, Borneo in October, already got the Maldives in October 2012 but need something late spring/early summer, probablt be Egypt though as that seems to be an annual jaunt for us

Just got back from Glastonbury which is the annual family trip. Off to Sicilly for a weeks summer hols with the kids followed by a week of me time in the uk and maybe if I'm lucky a couple of clubs and a few meets
