Badge for singles.

Jump to: Newest in thread

Why isn't there a badge for singles that is easy to wear and easily recognised, could be a certain symbol or colour or even a word, 'approach' maybe?

If there was such a badge would you wear it?

I would and all it would mean is single and open to being chatted up.

It's bloody hard knowing who is single and who isn't if a person isn't married, see so many handsome guys in everyday situations but wouldn't dream of approaching anyone with romantic intentions.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Wouldn't it be as open to abuse as people who remove their wedding rings?

I wouldn't wear it.

B & M Bargains

Surely you would still get guys in a relationship wearing the badge, just like you get half the guys on here pretending to be single!

You could just simply put a badge on yourself saying you're single and looking and please do approach me if you are too....if you're that keen to have this clear to all?

Or a t-shirt or big notice on a cardboard arrow mounted on firm wire to your back in such a way so the arrow points down at you as you walk.

I'm sure there are other ways too....

Happy to help

Even if this badge applied to me I wouldn't want some random approaching me.

Forgot I started this thread lastnight, think I fell asleep!

Anyway next question then, would you be offended if someone showed interest in you or just paid you a compliment and enquired about your relationship status?

I'm on heat, I see handsome people wherever I go, the postman, the guy that works in the local DIY shop, other dads that have kids in the same after school classes that my daughter attends. I just see fit people everywhere but chances are they'll be attached because they're in their thirties.

I think in theory this is a great idea, but like has been posted, maybe open to abuse and too many people pretending when they aren't.

A lot come down to trust and faith I suppose, both of which are qualities that go hand in hand with the lifestyle.

Would I wear one? Yes....I've got nothing hide (Exocet my deviant side )

Not for me,although I do remember when I first split from my husband I felt like I had a big sign above my head saying look at me everyone I'm single . Especially if I went shopping at the weekend and everyone else it seemed were hand in hand with a partner.

Central

I heard that local single's parties had married and coupled people there who lied. So I'm guessing that a cheap badge would be easy to abuse. I'll go find partner when I'm ready.

A helium balloon signifying you're single would be even more visible. If women wear a cock shaped one, if after a man, it would act like a cock magnet. If a high wind detaches and blows it away, they'd have a free willy moment, to get some.

Make a badge saying 'I'm single and up for it'. Wear badge. Job done.

Hahaha this.

I've already got a badge on my leather jacket. It's the pretty tied up ep cover.

Don't make the wire too firm as I'd like the arrow to bounce a little bit as you walk.

Good idea in theory, but relies on people being honest ,which we all know many are not.

I found this too, or you'd be innocently driving down a road and there'd be couples snogging everywhere you looked. Get a room people!!

That is not subtle enough they want it so it's only single people who are in the loop could tell but not others I think.
