Planning trip to Londonthis weekend but cheapest accom I can get is in Croydon

Does anyone know if there are good transport links from there to central London before I book ? X

Very regular trains to Victoria from East Croydon so not so bad

Yes, not much is happening in the london forum, compared to the scotland and ireland one, they got a whole community thing going on.

I did the same there and yeah, most post meets there. I might post there sometimes too.

Yes trains from East Croydon to London every few mins.

How much is it? Have you tried East London? It's an easy train into the city from there.

Maybe try The Continental hotel in Paddington or a budget chain like Ibis or Easy Hotel.

Croydon is nice and easy to get in and out of, if you can pull yourself away from the stunning architecture and welcoming atmosphere there
