Morning Steve, morning all. My wee toon's Gala Day today so hence it's been pissing it doon all night. Shame it means I cannae cut the grass.

Not for me, Gala Day is for the kids here.
The fisher lass and lad (gala king and queen) arrive in an historic fishing boat, are piped in procession up through the town to the park, then all the kids have fun on the rides, the games... and we eat. BBQ, cake stalls, fish!
Ice cream cake and fun today... no booze at all. |

I went to the Gala day with family and friends when I lived in Fife back in the early 70's.
