"Just to be clear I'm doing it more to learn about photography. "
Much much more to photography than a new camera, get yourself to a course on it to learn the basics |

"I'm looking at courses and stuff just now but can't really put it into practice until I have the camera. "
What camera are you actually getting? I used to do loads with 35mm, but not so much in the digital era.

I'm getting the Nikon D5300. Not the most expensive or to of the range but takes good shots and I wouldn't really do a more expensive one justice. |

Ah cool, it's just a matter of getting used to the tools at your disposal. Once you have mastered them, then you may feel the need to upgrade. It depends on what kind of shots you want to take I suppose. |

Wouldn't say I have a particular style in mine tbh. More just interested in learning first and maybe I'll find a style that I enjoy. |

I know precisely fuck all about photography but I could go take some naked pics of you girls pics on my Samsung, they may come out a little shakey/blurry mind but hey! It's all good for my learning curve! |

Experimentation is key, you live in a country that has masses of wildlife and such wonderful scenery. I took loads of pics when I went camping up the west coast in 1992 and they hold great memories for me |
