I wouldn't be too keen on petlamb or sweetheart 
not a fan of babe or love either, or anything that sounds too condescending.. |

I do use the term 'sweetheart' on here and normal everyday life but I eat pet lambs, usually with mint sauce and a variety of vegetables!  |
