I think its just a waste of time and tax payers money to have the police being sent on a wild goose chase while the parents are still not being prosecuted. |

I think if one of my kids had gone missing i would'nt stop until i had found them and would use any means necessary, private detectives, police....anything. it must be just about the worst thing ever |

This is a much discussed topic.
All I will say is if the police had enough evidence to prosecute they would have and how do you know that their search won't provide such evidence? |

I agree. What is puzzling is that I read something a while back saying the parents stayed in Portugal to do what they can to help find her but as soon as the blaming finger was pointed at them, they scarpered back to the UK and won't answer any questions by the police. Why do that if they haven't got anything to hide? |

I suspect the poor kid was dead from the off and the Portuguese detective was on the right track. The Mcans know exactly what happened. The truth will come out in time. |

Not sure if he is but whole heartily agree.... If the poor child was the off spring of a couple from a council sink estate then how much time and tax payers money would have been spent? Bet Richard Branson wouldn't have given them free air travel either! |

The Mcanns need to start talking.
I think they gave her medication, to send her to sleep so they could go out, she died. They panicked. Did whatever they did with her body and came up with their story.
They have DODGED every single VALID substantial question that has ever been put to them.

That's my theory too, her DNA was found in the boot of the hire car and the cadava dog also gave the same indication. If only ANPR was around then. |

The results of the Scotland Yard investigation may surprise us. It's as much about proving that something didn't happen as that something did happen. Time will tell. I guarantee you that the Mcans will be subject to a Ripa, many a murderer has been caught out by talking about it in the comfort of their own home. The killer of Rhys Jones was one of them. |
